France will face Brazil in last eight

My favourite soccer team, France has made it to the last eight after beating Spain 3-1 in the last 16. I feel happy for France because of their teamwork and high spirit made them through the next round of the competition. So now, France will face favourites, Brazil in the quarter final match as the repeat of the 1998 World Cup final in Paris. In 98 World Cup final, France defeated Brazil 3 goals to nil. This time, it looks like Brazil will likely to gain revenge against France for their team loss. Whatever it is, I hope France will continue did the same way like against Spain in the last 16 to beat Brazil. Here is the results of the second round and the list of the WC Quarter Final Match.

Today is the 2006 edition of World Cup in Germany. There are 32 teams compete in this year world cup competition such as Costa Rica, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Ecuador, Paraguay, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia & Montenegro, Angola, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Tunisia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Spain, England, Switzerland, Germany, France, Sweden, and Portugal. In my opinion, the 4 teams will be the favourites to win world cup is Argentina, Brazil, England, and Germany. I know that my favourite team is France and i think most likely they will progress to quarter finals if i am not mistaken. But I hope France will regain this edition of world cup.
